Integration options
Connect with a native platform integration, a file exchange, the Store API, or a mix.
Native integrations
Bigblue has native integrations for these platforms. You install and configure them in the Bigblue app.
| Platform | What it syncs |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Products, orders, stock levels, fulfillments and returns |
| WooCommerce | Products, orders and stock levels |
| PrestaShop | Products, orders and stock levels |
| Wix | Products, orders and stock levels |
| BigCommerce | Products, orders and stock levels |
Use a native integration if your store runs on one of these platforms and the standard sync fits your needs. No code is required.
File exchange
Connect a system that can export and import files but can't call an API, such as an ERP, an OMS or a custom tool. Your system and Bigblue exchange CSV files over sFTP, and Bigblue converts them on its side.
You keep your own file format. Bigblue maps your columns and IDs to its own fields, so your system doesn't need any changes.
What you can exchange
| You send to Bigblue | Bigblue sends to you |
|---|---|
| Products | Inventory snapshots, per warehouse or per lot |
| Inbound shipments | Inventory movements |
| Orders | Inbound shipment appointments and receptions |
| Order cancellations | Order statuses and shipping confirmations |
| Returns | Return updates |
| Product updates | |
| A processing report for each file you send |
You can pick only the flows you need. For example, an ERP that sends orders and gets back shipping confirmations.
The Bigblue team sets up each file exchange for your system. See File exchange setup.
When to choose it
Use file exchange when your system already exports files and you don't want to build against an API. Use the Store API when you need real-time updates, for example to create orders the moment they're placed or to receive stock changes by webhook.
Store API
Use the Store API when you need to connect something else, for example:
- a custom or headless storefront
- an ERP, PIM or WMS that can call an API (if it only exports files, see File exchange)
- a marketplace or B2B channel
- a freight or 3PL system that sends inbound shipments
- internal tools built on fulfillment data
You can run both at once. For example, use the Shopify integration for your main
store and the Store API for a B2B channel. Orders record which integration created
them, and ListOrders can return only the orders
your API key created.
What the Store API doesn't cover
| Task | Where to do it |
|---|---|
| Create API keys and webhooks | Bigblue app. See Authentication and Webhooks. |
| Configure warehouses and carriers | Bigblue app |
| View invoices | Bigblue app |
| Set stock levels directly | Not possible. Stock changes through inbound shipments, orders and returns. |
| Generate shipping labels | Labels are created during fulfillment. Read tracking with ListTrackings. |
